See here for the official registry of HTTP field names maintained by the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA).

Considerations for new field names

• If the field name is application-specific, use a name like ACME-Desc.
• Don’t prefix field names with X-.
• Field names should only contain alphanumeric characters, “-“, and “.”.
• Should begin with a letter.
