What is BST?

British Summer Time (BST) is a time zone used in the UK during the summer and has a UTC offset of +01:00.

So in winter, the UK uses the GMT timezone but in summer it uses BST:

SeasonTimezoneOffset
WinterGMT+00:00
SummerBST+01:00
