Docker: What is host.docker.internal?
28 September 2022 (Updated 28 September 2022)
host.docker.internal
is a special DNS name in Docker that resolves to the internal IP address used by the host machine. It’s useful when you want your containers to connect to a service on the host.
It’s for development purposes only and won’t work in a production environment outside Docker Desktop.
