Motorway studs
Motorway lanes
- Left lane: Normal driving
- Middle and right lane: For overtaking. Once you overtake, switch back to the left lane.
Speed limits
- Motorway & Dual carriageway: 70mph
- Single carriageway: 60mph
- Cars towing a trailer: 10mph less than usual
- Motorway & Dual carriageway: 60mph
- Single carriageway: 50mph
- Normal roads with street lights: 30mph
Types of crossing
Toucan crossing
A crossing which both pedestrians and cyclists can use and where they control the traffic lights using push buttons.
Puffin crossing
A pedestrian crossing where pedestrians can control the traffic lights using push buttons.
Vehicle lights
- Blue: Emergency services
- Green: Doctors’ cars
- Amber: Slow moving vehicles like tractors
