Concise writing: Remove tautological phrases

A tautological phrase expresses the same information twice.
Example 1
- Tautological: I’ve been writing this post a period of two hours.
- Concise: I’ve been writing for two hours.
Example 2
- Tautological: His shirt was black in colour.
- Concise: His shirt was black.
