Concise writing: Remove tautological phrases

A tautological phrase expresses the same information twice.

Example 1

• Tautological: I’ve been writing this post a period of two hours.
• Concise: I’ve been writing for two hours.

Example 2

• Tautological: His shirt was black in colour.
• Concise: His shirt was black.
