How to start Chrome with web security / CORS disabled on macOS

Ensure you have quit all instances of Chrome (Press Cmd + Q whilst Chrome is focused and open) and then run from the terminal:

open /Applications/Google\ Chrome.app --args --user-data-dir="/var/tmp/Chrome dev session" --disable-web-security

You should see the below when Chrome is opened:
